During the 15-day trial, you can explore the template gallery, create draft templates using the wizard, and preview them in sandboxed environments. You cannot publish templates live to production tenants or activate scheduled/staged rollouts. This lets you evaluate the platform without affecting real users.
No. Tenants can only change content (hero title, category sorting) and branding tokens (colors, fonts, logo). The Platform Owner controls all HTML/CSS structure. This is by design to keep templates safe, consistent, and free of XSS vulnerabilities.
Yes. ShowroomOS keeps complete version history for all templates. One-click rollback to any previous version. Tenant overrides (custom branding) are preserved during rollback, so tenants don't lose their customizations.
Staged rollouts let you publish template changes gradually. You can roll out by risk level (low-risk tenants first, then medium, then high) or by percentage (10% → 25% → 50% → 100%). Pause or abort at any time. Already-updated tenants stay on the new version. Available in Enterprise tier only.
Yes. Each template controls Home, Catalog, and Item page layouts simultaneously. When you switch templates or publish changes, all three page types update together. Tenants can customize content per page, but layout structure comes from the template.
Your trial converts to read-only mode. You can still view templates and version history, but cannot create new drafts or make changes. To continue, upgrade to Starter, Pro, or Enterprise. No data is lost—everything you created during the trial remains accessible.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing cycle. If you downgrade from Pro to Starter, governance features (version history, diff viewer, impact intelligence) become read-only but data is preserved.
